My iPhone used to be on 1.1.3, i used the previous version of ZiPhone to unlock the phone, had a few errors but it worked with T-Mobile (Prepaid).
I recently went into an AT&T contract (Non-iPhone) and updated to 1.1.4 through iTunes. I used ZiPhone 2.5 to "refurbish" it. I thought that according to this the phone should be relocked, but when i insert the prepaid T-Mobile SIM in it still reads it fine. Can anyone explain this? Is there any way to truly relock the phone?
EDIT 1: I just tried inserting the prepaid T-Mobile SIM into another iPhone (1.1.3 unlocked (iNdependence), "refurbished" (ZiPhone 2.5), updated to 1.1.4 (ZiPhone 2.5)(Not activated)) and it was recognized. Normal calls were able to be made through the emergency mode with a T-Mobile SIM.

Reason: Addition
Doh! I just posted a New thread with exactly the same issue (feature) of sim cards staying unlocked.
Did you have Called ID or did you also get the "Unknown" called display?
