iPhone 3G unlock
Sorry if the subject makes you think the DevTeam has released the software unlock for 3G. They have not but soon (fingers crossed)
I'm writing to confirm that there are people out there who're already using a totally unlocked iPhone 3G and that's not with TurboSim. I know what you're thinking but it's also NOT factory unlocked.
They got their iPhone just like most of us, locked... Then they went to some phone shop, and after a few days they got their phones back, no turbosim at all. But apparently it works.
After eliminating turbosim and factory unlocking method, the only method I would guess is hardware unlock.
Any ideas people?
PS: I've been following DevTeam's work for quite awhile now but I start to wonder when we talk about unlocking iPhone 3G, should DevTeam's work be our first source/attention?Last edited by squaresoft; 12-02-2008 at 08:45 AM.

vietnamese ta-mobile from hackint0sh hardware unlocks them regularly on a daily basis. only problem is, a simple software update from apple will re lock them and the hardware method will have to be re performed. he charges 80 a piece and it takes a few hours. and you have to go to his shop in vietnam

Look inside where your sim connects, there is an adaptor soldered in, good luck going to 2.2 with iTunes. Sorry once again "There is no Software unlock for the 3G" read first post again re:3G Software Unlock
