Locked first gen iphone - Help please!!!
Hi,
Without knowing the consequences I upgraded to 2.2 through itunes and my first gen iphone is now locked. It says -
'The sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported'
Is it possible to unlock or downgrade back to 1.4 at this time??
If so ... How???
While I have read all the threads on the forums ... I just want to be sure of what to do. That's why I post a separate thread.
Please help!!!

As far as I know you can't downgrade or unlock your iPhone. Sorry mate.

Odviously you haven't read any of the threads on the forum or else you'd be aware of the several ways to unlock your phone.
Also the guy that posted above me is either a idiot or just messing with you either way ignore him his info I'd wrong
Im going to be nice and help you out
QUICKPWN 2.2 that's all I'm gonna say if you can't figure it out from there your slow and don't deserve anbodys help
I'm tired of y'all newbs who want to be spoon fed and instead of taking the same time and effort it takes to ask a question thatts been recently answered amillion you could use the search button or just click on a thread that's probably on the 1st page and find the answer . I hope you brick your phone
