    Default I have an otb iphone infront of me now

    Hi,
    i have an iphone infront of me now which was made in week 43 and base band of 04.02.13_G

    i want to unlock it fo any sim card, but theres so many different versions of hacks going around im really confused as to which is sutible for me

    can you help me out?

    Use Ziphone 2.3 or 2.4, just one click you will get it done in 5 mins.

    You can use 2.5 also.. It dont matter

    Ok cool, on the guide it says that it recommends a restore to 1.1.4 before you start

    how is that done?

    sorry if im a complete noob lol

    if i restore will i lose all my contacts?

    Just sync your iphone before you restore and all your contact info will be saved. (I use sync to windows contacts option)

    Then after you restore you can resync your stuff.

    download the 1.1.4 firmware from the download section up at the top of this site, then click shift restore in itunes. The select the firmware you just downloaded.

    After that open zipone 2.5 click unlock active jailbreak button and it should do it all for you.

    Some people say they have to close itunes, didnt matter to me, but may way to close it just to be sure. Also change your phone to never lock.
