Need some help with unlocking my iphone please.

Hey guys, ok here is the situation, last night I decided to upgrade my current 1.1.4 frimware to 2.2. But instead of just doing the update I decided to do a restore first which wiped out everything and went back into the emergency only mode. Two things, I dont have the AT&T sim card that the phone came with, nor do I know of a method to get this phone up and running. I need help getting this phone back up and running. One thing I will need help with is finding out what version it resorted to when I did a restore, and Im aware of the process of finding that out which is *3001#12345#*, then send. That method is not working it goes nowhere and does nothing? I would truely appreciate all the input and advice as I just LOCKED this phone, and btw I live in Canada there is no AT&T here. try doing this. iClarified - iPhone - How to Unlock/Jailbreak Your 2.x.x 2G iPhone Using QuickPwn (Windows). i used this tutorial to upgrade my 2g. it took 45 mins and was super easy.

Hi I have a similar prob with my 2G, i cant access anything other than the emergency only screen, the phone was originally unlocked and i live in South America but I have been using it with my sim from here. I recently ran an update through I tunes and now its locked. Please tell me what to do?

^Since you updated it...you re-locked it.

You will have to re-jailbreak/unlock it using Pwnage or Quickpwn.

Hi I did every step until i got to Step 2, I cannot restore because those options in Itunes is not available to me. Where my phone is displayed it says: The SIM Card Inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported. Any more advice???

Put it into DFU mode.Restore to itunes.Then use quickpwn...

Turn off your phone,hold Power and Home,as the grey apple logo comes up, release the power button,but keep holding the home button and wait for iTunes to detect your phone in recovery mode...
