Default 2.2 unlocking Problems using quickpwn 2.2

Hey everyone! hows it going? well I'm about tired of this trying to unlock this d@mn 2g. I have a 2g here i did a fresh restore of 2.2 then i used quickpwn 2.21 windows process went find no problems. now when i pop a tmobile card in i get no service. I tried this two times. i popped in my activated at&t sim and i didn't have any signal bars, but it makes calls. it's as if it didn't unlock only activated. I have no clue what is going on i have unlocked iphones before , but it's been a while like 1.1.4. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Quickpwn will not activate the phone. I had exactly the same problem and my fix was to use the Pwnage Tool. (if you have access to a Mac)

Did you go directly from 1.1.x to 2.2?

If so, then it appears like you didn't click the bottom right hand unlock/bootneuter checkbox of QuickPwn. Try to rerun it with that option checked.

You need to unlock it with your tmobile card in it. put it in, quickpawn 2.2 and thats it. It is truly that simple. Do not worry about the computer saying sim not right. Just Quickpawn it! Any yes quickpawn will activate if done correctly.

Default Quickpwn 2.2- about to run

I'm trying to run Quickpwn 2.2 on an original 16G iphone, though up to date software-wise, and all goes well up to the point where the phone is to restart and run cydia. Strange, though I'm certainly a novice when it comes to this type of thing.

    suggestions?

    much obliged.
