Best Way to Unlock iPhone w/ 2.1 5F136

Hi,

I lost my old iPhone and I had to pick up a used replacement. I use TMobile and had unlocked my previous phone with ZIPHONE. However, that had 1.1.4 firmware I believe.

Can someone tell me the most reliable unlock for v 2.1 firmware?

TYIA

I found it last night on my own with a Google search.

However, it's not working for me. These are the steps I followed, can anyone tell me if I missed something.

1) started up quickpwn 2.1
2) connected my iphone with software 2.1 5F136
3) did the power button/home sequence
4) said I was successful, phone rebooted with a pineapple then loaded to the main screen
5) took out the att sim card and put in my tmobile sim card
6) phone kicks me out to the connect to itunes screen and says it will not work with that sim card

Any help would be appreciated greatly

check to make sure you selected unlock in quickpwn.

you should see the phone flash the baseband during the jailbreak process (on the iphone)

if quickpwn isn't working out for ya, try pwnage then.

I upgraded software to 2.2 then tried quickpwn 2.2 and the same thing happened. Went through the whole process and when I went to put my sim card in it went to the connect to itunes screen.

Do I need to do this with my TMobile sim card in or out?

Regarding selecting Unlock in quickpwn, I don't see that option. I just open the program, click the icon and it starts doing whatever it does. It never asks me if I want to unlock or anything and I don't see an option for it
