Updated unlocked iPhone from 1.1.3 to 2.1: PROBLEM!

Ok so I have a 1.1.3 old iPhone and I was tired of everyone using really cool apps and not me. So I tried using iTunes to update it to the 2.1 version. I did it but now it is like locked and I can only slide the lock thing for Emergency Calls Only.

So it won't recognize my Sim.

Can anyone PLEEEASE help me out here? Does anyone know where to send it to have it fixed or something? Or if I can download some sort of software or something?

if you are trying to unlock it use pwnage, you can find it in the downloads page here on modmyi.com, after you follow all the steps you should have an unlocked phone that shout recognize any sim you have in there. here is a guide on how to do it: guide
