hello iddicts,

i am currently running a first gen iphone on 1.1.4. i've been syncing to a ibook g4 but recently bought a new macbook. i think the kinks in the 2.X firmware have been worked out and with the purchase of a new computer, i figured it was time to upgrade to 2.1.

i've heard reports that the itunes released with the new macbooks can act funny with jailbroken and/or unlocked phones so i'm wondering how i should move forward in upgrading...

any information would be helpful.

You'll be fine.

However...since you've waited this long....I would hold off.

2.2 FW will be released in the next week or so....and it'll take a few to crack/jailbreak it....so I would hold off for that.

i've definitely held off! i read so many bad things about 2.0 that i was afraid to upgrade and now that i'm browsing around tonight i think you're probably right, i should wait for 2.2...
