Hi there (newcomer here)
Ok i recently upgraded and jailbroke my iphone 3g 2.1 firmware...
I upgraded because i bought a Gevey chip to unlock my iphone and i read that i was supposed to have firm 2.1.. well whatever, the problems are the following...

Everytime i plug my iphone, itunes comes up with a message about an issue with the SIM card and wont let me check its contents (i can drag and drop files, and sync seems to work fine too)

Next, i wanted to use itunes 7 as some guides suggested, but when i try to use my iphone with that it tells me that my iphone will only work with itunes 8...

I was thinking if it is a good idea to re-jailbreak or if there's a way to fix those problems? I wanted to try to run quickpwn again but since the firmware is already jailbroken i dont know if that will cause any problems :S

The only solution i was thinking about was to reinstall the 2.1 firmware (without jailbreak) and jailbreak it again... but dont know if that works, and dont know if that will actually solve the problem.. well guys, you are the experts here.. i will wait for your answer, thanks

Hi pepekong. I had too problems with gevey sim. Couldn't make itunes work no mater what I tried. So i bought a new sim card from Unlock iPhone 3G - Instant Unlock any iPhone
Now it woks without problems. Hope this helps.
