Help jailbreaking 2.0.1

I bought the first Gen iphone and i used Quickpwn to unlock/jailbreak it and i completed all the steps and after it rebootes i insert the t-mobile sim card and it takes me to usb and itunes screen and a message pops up saying '' Different SIM detected please connect to itunes'' The T-mobile logo appears with bars at the top and i can make emergency calls but thats about it.
Please help!
Any help would be very much appreciated.
