I am selling my 2G iPhone. If the person I am selling it to just puts in his AT&T SIM card, will it work even if he doesn't have the data plan? Hes fine with no internet, but wnats to make calls, and of course the other stuff on the phone. Or does he need to unlock the phone to accept the SIM?
Won't work unless phone is unlocked. I tried with a phone I purchased off Craig's List. You haven't indicated if you have a Mac or Windows. In any case,here is a place to start.
