Jailbroken 3G iphone doesnt detect sim (TurboSIM)

I have an iphone 3G firmware 2.1 that was activated at the apple store. I then went home to jailbreak it. A few days later I got a turbosim off ebay.I followed direction and all and all I get is a "no sim installed error". I tried taking it out and putting the sim and turbosim back in and still a no go...I tried using the turbosim and my t mobile sim inside a nokia phone and it still doesnt see the sim, but it sees it without the turbo sim. All this must mean that that turbo sim is a bad one, but i wanted to make sure that I dont need to take anymore steps in seeing if the turbo sim works.

I recently got a virgin sim off ebay as i read on this site that it works pretty good. Does anyone have any ideas?Thanks in advance

I called the place where i got it from and they e mailed me directions to turn 3g off and reboot the phone, which i did and the iphone still was saying no sim installed

The Virgin-SIM should work perfect.

Which is the turbosim your getting the error from?.. What brand?

i-Smartphone SIMs DONT WORK on 2.1 phones.

None of them. Not the Q-SIM, not the Black one, and not the i-Smartphone 3G SIM.

Even if they claim it does, it doesnt. So get your money back.
