Slider broken

iPhone was dropped, since then bottom half of screen doesn't respond to touch.
So of course this means I cannot "Slide to Unlock". Thus no access. I also have a password set, so trying to access through itunes doesn't work either. I already have a new iphone, so i simply need transfer my contacts to my new phone. HOW?

doesn't it automatically sync on itunes and asks u if u want to sync ur contacts, bookmarks, etc?

because I can't enter the password on the the phone, because the screen in that area is broken, itunes won't sync, because the password hasn't been entered.

Had the same problem.
You can increase the sensitivity of the screen if you install a fix.
iPhone Touchscreen Fix: Increase Sensitivity
Needless 2 say - u have to have a jailbroken phone
