TurboSim?

I have a OTB 1.1.2 , jailbroken using a Turbo Sim card.

If I were to update to 1.1.4 what would be the best method?

restore system... update via iTunes to 1.1.4, then use ziphone or other to
activate phone but not unlock, just reinstall my turbo sim and go??

Phone works perfect on 1.1.2 but should I update,...wait or just stay away from updating?

Just feel lost in the whole updating game.

Thanks for any in put good or bad.
