    Default Itunes does not read my Phone

    ive had an iphone for quiet a while and i have unlocked it with no problem..(i did it like 7 months ago)


    My uncle just got one and i tried unlocking his phone...

    i did xactly the same thing wit ziphone 3.0 but at first an erroR came out in itunes that the phone was not recognized

    after two tries of tring to get it to read it stoped even showing me that messege and now nothing comeouts

    NOW ZIPHONE CANT READ MY PHONE OR ITUNES....

    IM RUNNING IT ON 7.5 ITUNES I GOT IPHONE 2G AND ZIPHONE 3.0

    I DL THE FIRMWARE 1.1.4 ALREADY ALL I NEED IS SOME ONE TO HELP ME OUT TO GET MY COMP TO RECOGNIZE MY PHONE

    PS THE IPHONE IS SHOWING THE ITUNES LOGO AND THE USB CABLE

    IVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES ALL THE RESETS AND THE COMP STILL DONT READ IT

    I suggest upgrade iTunes to version 8. Upgrade your firmware to 2.1 since i don't there there is anything you can't do on 2.1 that you can on 1.1.4 at this point. Then download and run quickpwn to jailbreak/unlock.

    If the phone has firmware 2.0 or above on it right now, then you need the iTunes 8 mobile device drivers to recognize the phone. Either way it's best to upgrade EVERYTHING. There is no reason to be at that firmware.

    Oh... if the end of the USB cable on the phone is the end that plugs into the computer then you're at 2.0+. If it's the end that sticks into the iPhone then you're at 1.1.4 or below.

    O0o ok ok thanks bro am start that right now then.....

    Makes lots of sence i was running it on a 7.5

    is the new firmware fully functunable because on my 1.1.4 i got a lot of apps i wont like to loose

    You will lose all your apps and have to re-install them all from Cydia. 1.1.4 & 2.0+ have completely different file frameworks but almost all apps for 1.1.4 have been re-written for 2.0 so you'll be fine.

    o0o ok ok well yea i know ill have to reinstall them but aslongs as i can get them back i wont mind....
