A friend brought me a 3G Iphone from Australia Optus (which he has paid extra to have it unlock). I am now trying to activate it using another sim card outside australia but its not working! And it keeps giving me the "invalid sim" or " sim card not supported" error. My friend said he has tested it with several sim card in Australia so he is sure it is unlock, but to me it doesn't seems so.
Can anyone guide me the right direction on how I can activate it or check whether it is unlocked or not? Thanks!!!!
yes its still locked then
i have mine unlocked and any sim i put in i dont have that problem
maybe try and get Optus sim ?
or i think you can activate with sim unlock like turbo sim then use ur normal sim with out turbo sim
makes sence ?
