I received a used iphone 8g, says version 2.0. want to unlock using my mac 10.4.11 using itunes 8. I would like to use my tmobile sim card. There is a lot of information on here and I've read so much of it, I'm now confused. I appreciate any help you can give. thank you!!
I'm assuming you mean its an 8Gb iphone running firmware 2.0. The question is , is it an original iphone or is it a 3G iphone? If its 3G , then you cannot unlock it. If its original, then you can use Pwnage. Pwnage 2.0 Guide - ModMyi - Wiki

Thanks for your help! yes its an 8gb iphone, silver on the back not the new 3g. Im looking for something thats pretty easy to understand. I appreciate your help.
