Can an iPhone 2G be upgraded to 2.1?
My iPhone has been really screwed up lately so I'm looking to upgrade. One of the error's is I have an appstore app that wants to be upgraded but needs to have firmware 2.1 to do so and is just stuck in the upgrade stage on my phone eating up resources.
Another problem is Cydia seems to have installed a faulty scrip that makes my phone reset every 10 minutes or so.. sometimes 10 seconds into turning my phone on.. So I'm looking to restore my phone too.
I'm on T-Mobile firmware 2.0 so any help is appreciated.

...or download and flash one of the custom 2.1 (Jailbroken/Activated) firmwares that can be found in the Jailbreaking section of these forums.
