I've had my 3G ever since the release date, but live in an unsupported country. I've tried sim unlockers but they're useless. Do we think there will ever be a software unlock?

anyway yes they will unlock it but it will take some time just like 1.1.2 OTB

some people tried and it will give u jailbreak and tells u the unlock will b released soon

buy a Universal sim and a Usb updater, and you good to go. I've been using mine for over a month with no problem!

I hope so because the sim adapters are so unreliable and unstable, it makes me sick. There are some people thy claim great success with these but they are in the minority.. As these things usually have problems just days after install. I just went back to using my 2G and put my precious 3G away until the day a software unlock is availible.
