Hi everyone,

I want to upgrad/unlock my 1st Gen iphone running 2.0 to 2.1. But I dont see a guide for it, so I tried using the guide for the 3G since it looks like pwnage supports old iphones

Anyway, I got an error message saying that it was the incorrect firmware file.

If thats the only thing, can someone send me the link to the right firmware for 1st gen? OR...let me know if this is even possible yet.

Or just download it from Itunes.

just download it from itunes... when you plug in your phone, it should tell you that an update is availible... then it asks you if you want to update, ignore or download only... just select download only. Or you can google search iphone 2G 2.1 firmware and you will find it.

oh...okay...
for some reason I was under the impression that there's possibly multiple builds and minor updates that go un-advertised that pwnage tool only works with.
