Hey i have an iphone 3g and i've been waiting for when a software unlock may come out? and ideas thanks!

No idea when software unlock will come out. Have you tried using a simcard adapter? I'm using Universal Sim to unlock my iPhone 3G. I prefer it because it's programmable. So far, it's working properly. I was afraid to use it at first because I've read many horror stories about it. But I was desperate to use it with my T-Mobile simcard. I was only using it like iPod Touch at first. I'm glad now I took the risk.

No i haven't tried that and would radther be more patient and wait for a full software unlock. I'm not to crazy about paying for an unlock :P. Thanks though, any other info be great!
