Ok, So I bought an iphone offically through att premier website...recieved the phone and activated it as usual using itunes and THEN pwned it using 2.0.2. Now once I did that I went ahead and cancelled the line making up some"bs" and since I'm a business customer I got away with the ETF and having to return the phone because its got water damage heh. now my question is once I update it to 2.1 for "better performance" will be able to re-activate it assuming pwnage supports 2.1? and just pop in my existing att sim in it and will get bars?

what do i expect when i open the phone
activation is a must ?
