Default difference between iphone from carrier a to carrier b

    hi guys

i was wondering. i'm in switzerland and we have to carriers wich offer the iphone...

if i get one at swisscom can i use it with my orange sim? or can i activate it with my sim?

this may seem to be a stupid question...
but the point is, what is the difference between the phone bought from swisscom and the one bought from orange?

    thanks for answers...

The phone should be locked to whatever carrier you bought it from, therefore should need to be unlocked to work. As far as I know. Thats how it works in the US, even if it is the same phone.

it should be the same exact phone. only differences would be the carrier that it's locked into. i'd go with the phone from the carrier with the better service/plans.
