I need Help

Hi!! I was wondering if its ok to use the jailbreak program for iphone 3g because im not an AT&t subscriber? and i only use the iphone here in the philippines...

Jailbreaking for 3G, YES. But no SIM unlocking tools for 3G yet. Hopefully soon.

Software unlock is not done yet for the 3G, 2G however you can, both can be jailbroken though.

Oh ok.. i thought i couldnt jailbreak my phone because my im not AT&T subscriber and im here in the philippines only globe sim cards works on my phone... thanks

by the way in the guide for jailbreaking(pwnage tool) the phone in the "general settings" should i check the "activate phone"? since im not an at&t subscriber should i check it?

Only SIM proxies will allow it to work in the Philippines. Yes you can jailbreak any iPhone/iTouch with pwnage tool.

Restore brings it to factory settings, your settings simply restore from backup after you restore, there will be a screen right after you restore asking if you want to set up as new or restore from backup. Just restore and all your old settings are back

you don't have to check "activate phone" if you have an iphone 3g

Download bootneuter from Cydia and select NEUTER ON UNLOCK ON dont touch the bootloader at all and reflash it.

HI!!! well i restored my phone after i jailbroke it... but my internet connection on my phone was gone... wahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
