unlocked iphone help what i do wrong

please help what i do wrong unlocked the iphone ver, 2.02 able to make calls using my tmobile sim but the phone still comes up asking me to connet to itunes and sayin only can make emergency calls and says different simm detected but i can make and receive calls.
