how exactly to unlock my iphone

I am using 1.1.4 firmware. Modem firmware is 04.05.04_G. I'm using windows if that matters and itunes 7.4. I have already jailbroken it and have installer already on the iphone. I just don't know where to go from there. Kinda need a step by step instructions. I'm trying to use my t-mobile sim card.

In installer, install community sources, then search for bootneuter. Then let the program do its thing.

If you want to upgrade to 2.0 firmware as well as unlock (I was in same position as you and would recommend it) then follow this guide.

Alright, I installed bootneuter and it said i need to also install bsd subsystem (something like that) so I did that to. WHen I run bootneuter a error 5 comes up and then something else pops up saying no edge access.

Do it again. Uninstall bootneuter, reinstall it, then set bootneuter to neuter your baseband, and unlock your phone. Don't interrupt the program ever. Should go through okay on 1.1.4

I finally got it unlocked. One more question though. Would it hurt my phone if I upgraded my itunes to 7.7 . I also have an ipod touch but it won't let me use itunes unless i have 7.7. Thanks.
