is it possible to downgrade from 2.0.1 to 1.1.4
i accidenly upgraded and would realling like to downgrade back to 1.1.4 so i can use he wifi again since my tmobile sim has been shut off i really wanna use the web and check emails and stuff so please help me a thanks will be rewarded

yes..
Download an old version of ITunes (7.5 or 7.6 should work).
Download the 1.1.4 firmware
Uninstall Itunes and install the old version 7.5 or 7.6
use the DFU restore to select the 1.1.4 firmware and restore it.
After you are restored on 1.1.4 use the usual tools to jailbreak and unlock

hello everyone........at first let me thank u for helping me so far.it was of great help for me.but now i have the prob again.i have the restored 2.0.1 fw for my 2g iphone.i used the quickpwn gui 120 to jailbreak and unlock but it could not unlock the phone.other things are ok but it is not showing any carrier.can anyone help please?????

Restore your phone to firmware 2.2.1 and then use Quickpwn 2.2-5 (from our download section) to jailbreak and unlock.

Remember if you download 1.1.4 you will not be able to get apps from the App Store ... you have to have 2.0 or later for the app store.
