[Guide]ZiPhone unlock is out! with noob Tutorial
From Developers website:
Download here:It's by far the most simple program to setup your iPhone.
Just run it and you will see it.
Windows + OSX versions !
The source will be available later today on
http://www.iphone-elite.org/
Details on how it works and WHY it works, will be released on the above site or wiki.
No 'dev-team' was directly involved with this work.
This program is based on the work of everyone who
believed in free software. (Thanks for the toolchain!)
Thanks to geohot for his latest work.
Thanks to Tissy for moral support.
Thanks to iphone-elite.org for support.
Thanks to Viper and Tifel and ortner for being so nice always.
Thanks to iRev for the picture above and to Mel Brooks for
producing and directing such a funny movie.
And thanks to iphoneelite.com for giving me so many laughs too
Namaste,
Zibri.
P.S.
As a side-effect, using this tool will revive many 'dead' basebands.
Just use the unlock option.
FOR PEOPLE with NO IMEI, NO WIFI, NO BASEBAND (4.6BL):
boot the phone in recovery mode.
then run: ziphone -u

i have tried 20x to run the ziphone.exe ad it just wont run. and sometimes i get the "cannot find itunesmobiledevice.dll" messgae....when that file is in the folder. any idea how this works. cuz i got a 1.1.2 OTB phone with an erased baseband that i would love to use this on
welll....i can confirm that this program did nothing but kee my phone unactivated, not jailbroken, and did not fix my baseband like they said. i ran the commands....followed the instructions and it said it was finished...but nothing happened every timeLast edited by fat x nub; 02-11-2008 at 07:24 PM.
