Okay, so i'm clear on this. Does the 3G iPhone have to be activated by the phone shop for you to use the 3G, youtube, maps and so on ??

3G activation

Okay, so i'm clear on this.

Does the 3G iPhone have to be activated by the phone shop for you to use the 3G, youtube, maps and so on ??

or

Can you create a custom image using winpwn, tick Activation and the phone will be activated? map and youtube will work? and 3G if using pay and go sim?

(Pay and Go O2 sim that is)
