3G Iphone, No signal?

Ok i need some advice, I pwned my 3G iphone to 2.0.1 firmware with 2.0.0 baseband. I wanted to find out if other 02 pay monthly simcards work with it instead of just the official tarrifs,

So some of my mates are on pay monthly 02 contracts, i tried one an it dident work, Which i was confused about as i was almost posititive it would work, So one of my other mates owns a 3G iphone to but he is on the official contract so i tried his and again it failed to work

Im really worried now, Could the phone be faulty? I used winpwn and i checked Cydia, Installer, Youtube activation fix and activate phone

Any advice?

Sorry to double post but anyone have any ideas? I really need to know cause i will need to see 02 or Apple if this is going to be an issue

Hi,is that your o2 simcard is 3G SIM CARD?
you dont need checked youtube activation fix and activate phone.the phone not faulty.make sure the simcard is 3G simcard,or you can try put the PAYG sim card first,you can updgate software from itunes,if you wish.it will work with any o2 3G simcard.hope this will help you

Hi, Thanks for your reply, No the 3g iphone sim card is not mine it is one of my mates, I just dont understand why i am not getting any signal with it, Is it because i picked to activate it? Also should any 02 pay month sim work?

you don't neet pick activate,if your 3g iPhone bought from o2,then the phone will work any o2 simcard.make sure your simcard is o2(3g simcard).

I have unlocked 3g iphone with QuickPwnGui120.exe. eveerithing is worging exept the simcart has no signal, the simcard is 2G, is it posible to use a 2G simcard on 3Giphone?
