3G iPhone real hardware unlock available on 7/24/08 in Vietnam...
iPhone 3G đã được unlock thÃ*nh công ở Việt Nam - DIỄN ÄÀN TINH TẾ
He opened up the iPhone 3G to remove or replace some chips to set/bypass the value of locked back to no lock. Tested on all vietnam networks. Work more stable than sim-unlock.
In the pictures, they compared their hardware unlock method and sim-lock method...
Atleast the 3G unlock is not impossible anymore...Last edited by istorm; 08-14-2008 at 11:42 PM.

No, he was commentting on the sim hack, because he said that sim hack is very unstable and loose signal all the time, but his method is actually replaced a chip or bypassed it and make it permanently unlocked. He also said that the iPhone 3g word more stable, and work with 3G enable too. I didnt really understand the word they used.. so im not sure either he replaced a chip or bypass it. In a picture you see him soldered 2 wires on the board to hack it..

Haha, why is it that every time a new baseband comes out Vietnam is the first one to say they've hacked it. But has anyone seen the evidence? No.
