Will a cut sim still work in my original phone?

Hello all,

I finally decided to buy an iphone and TRY to use it with T-Mobile. I picked up one today with firmware 1.1.2.

I’m about to place an order for a StealthSIM, but was concerned about cutting my sim card. I still plan on using my existing phone along with my iphone (if everything works out). Will my sim card still work in my original phone after I cut it? Thanks in advance for your replies.
