Ok so i bought a used iphone 1st gen it is upgraded to the newest firmware i just got it yesterday. i have an att sim card and i dont want to unlock, i just want to activate. I have tried iliberty but it gets stuck and when i use ziphone to just activate the iphone it gets stuck on the "rebooting phone in recovery mode..." does this take a while? i have left it for 20 minutes and it just stays there. What can i do to just activate the iphone? any hints, help, or ideas would be great.
ziphone and iliberty DONT work on the new 2.0 fw
you need to use winpwn to activate/unlock/jailbreak the 2.0 fw
theres plenty of guides on this site that will help you out
