Quick helps guys, new to iphone

ok so i got a used iphone today and it's not unlocked. The guy didn't give me any kind of sim card with it but i have my activated t-mobile sim. I want to know what is the fastest and easiest way to unlock this phone. sorry about not searching but the reason i didnt is because im kinda confused because i dont know what version it is or anything so idk what program to use.

you can download and install winpwn 2.0.0.3
when you start winpwn it will tell you what version FW your using
if it is anything below 2.0 you can use iLiberty+ to jailbreak/unlock
if it is 2.0FW you will have to use winpwn 2.0.0.3...
if it is 2.0.1FW you will have to use winpwn 2.0.0.4..

im assuming your on a windows based PC
