Unlocked iPhone... now what?

Hello!

I finally got my iphone unlocked... now what? I worried about plugging it into my computer becuase i don't want it to lock up...

what are the rules associated with it staying unlocked? Do i need a certain version of iTunes?? anything else to keep in mind?

Thanks all!

Lori

You have nothing to worry about by plugging in your phone. Just be aware if apple comes out with an upgrade to your current firmware, don't upgrade or you will be back to an unlocked, unjailbroken state. If you are using 2.0 or 2.01 you will need to use itunes for the app store.

in the settings/general/about will tell you your firmware

if you have 2.01 then you need iTunes 7.7

if youre on 1.1.4 fw..doesnt matter what itunes version you use.
from time to time, itunes will notify you that there is a new fw available, would you like to update....just click NO...then you'll be fine.
