DFU Mode

wtf.... my comp wont read my phone as an iphone it keeps saying new usb hardware device to install. and it shows it as a Iphone camera

I tried putting the phone in DFU mode and i get the same message that says new USB device "DFU Mode" searching for yada yada yada....

Why cant i reset my iphone.... or do i even need to ? I am trying to figure out how to unlock it so i can use it with t-mobile... but the problem is i bought it on ebay and i can only get to the emergency screen cant do anything else..

So It doesn't show up in iTunes???

try a different usb port, reinstall itunes or use a different comp to do it and it should work.
also make sure when you are in DFU you have the black screen and not the connect to itunes screen
