Is installer available on pwnage 2.0

Hello all,

I've unlocked my previous generation iphone with pwnage tool. I use the advance feature to unlock. Everything went fine, my only question is that when it showed that it was building the firmware package, it show's a picture of installer being put in the box along with Cydia..etc.

Is Cydia the new installer or..? Thanks for the replys!

Cydia is further along with development, and has more apps/themes/etc. Installer 4 (beta) was just released with the latest pwnage tool (2.0.2), so there's not much to it. Which you use in the future is up to you....

What most here don't understand is that just because Cydia and/or Installer 4 is ready for 2.0 or 2.0.1 software, doesn't mean the apps are ready. Developers have to port their apps. I have a feeling many developers are either frustrated with porting to 2.0 (or can't do it) or are working on making $ in the App Store. Those developers that are working on 2.0 porting of their 1.1.4 software are few, and usually those that are donation oriented. Nothing wrong with that....but I'm beginning to think a lot of the freeware type apps won't be ported.....
