OTB means Out of The Box. I presume by NIB you mean New In Box - hence the same thing?

And whichever term you use, NIB 1.1.2 or OOB 1.1.2 cannot be software unlocked at the moment.

So it is the same thing? Im not sure... OTB means when they opened it it came with 1.1.2..

New In box means means it had 1.1.2. So what your telling me it is the same thing right.. just some people refer it to NIB instead of OTB... sorry im just confused.

    also..

When i see 1.1.3 can be unlocked. does that mean you have to have had a 1.1.1 OTB inorder for that to have happened?

    THANKS AGAIN!

If you buy a new phone with 1.1.3, it cannot be software unlocked. If you have a phone that was new with 1.1.1 and upgrade it to 1.1.3, then yes it can be unlocked.
