I want to make sure we have the same edge issue symptoms,mines was working for a few days showing the e LOGO,now it won't show the e logo at all nor connect at all,everyone here having the same problem right?

dude, there was kinda no need to open a new thread but whatever. I used to get the no service but i found a way to keep it on the network. whenever i get the network lost i just click dismiss instead of settings and it will go back to the network and if it automaticly goes to the carrier settings i just close it fast. I haven't had any issue for three day in a row. and about the edge. no edge so far.

I just bought yessim for my 3G yesterday. It will only hold a signal for no more than a few hours... however, I can get the edge to stay for some reason? I bought the yessim chip from some guy of craigslist... I dont know if he programed it at all. Anyway, did you set your data roaming on and apn to: wap.voicestream.com? Thats what I did and it's working so far...

yea i did that the first time i got my turbo sim then randomly it stopped,was working fine like nothing then then stopped

@itgzmoney. bottom line is turboshit and yesshit will work edge for a few hours or days and it will be gone.

I Use Yessim Turbo Sim and stealth sim

Yessim is nice because it will work for any gsm phone not just the iphone because it is fully programmable. You can change the mcc-mnc and patch count to pick up service.

Turbo Sim is nice for plug and play but needs some issues worked out.

Stealth Sim is Legit. Expensive but Really holds edge and Signal

I use Yessim and am currently trying to work out the edge issue. Im waiting for the Usb type yesup to upgrade the sim to the 2.5 Firmware.

Rud3bwoy Yea remember we had this issue a few days ago? You had it fixed somewhat But I guess some settings must have changed when you changed networks. Im not sure I will def stay posted and try to figure this out though with ya.

try using firmware 2.4 beta 4 c and keep the same patch count with the data roaming and 3g enabled

When i bought the simcard all i got was the sim, does this mean i cant patch to 2.4?

Did you buy the sim directly from yessim? If so it should have came with a yesup as well.

But if not then no there is no current way to update this sim firmware without a yesup or sending it to someone with one.
