    Default Euro OTB Iphone jailbroken, can't unlock to accept any sim

    I bought a iphone with firmware version 1.1.2 in the u.k. I was able to jailbreak it giving me access to third party apps and all the other functions apart from the phone. What can i do now to unlock the phone to accept any sim card. Thanks.

    This is not an accurate statement. Only 1.1.2 phones can;t be unlocked with software (as of this posting).

    The hardware unlock is really quite simple, if you have the right tools. I did it on a friends phone, but I am waiting to do it on mine to see how future updates and such go. I don't want to have to go through taking the damn thing apart every time I want to mess with an update or a restore!

    All Euro iPhones actully can't be unlocked as they were shipped with the new booloader, except SIM solutions and Hardware.
