No phone function with Stealth SIM installed

I have a 1.1.2 and was able to Jailbreak the phone and have just put a Stealth SIM in. The phone seems to know there is a SIM card (ie no No SIM or No Signal messages) but the signal is weak and nothing happens when I try to make a call also trying to ring the phone number goes straight to voicemail. My SIM is from Vodafone and I'm in Oz. Any ideas??

Have you tried re-aligning the StealthSIM? Cleaning the points etc?


Also how old is your VODAFONE SimCARD? If its older that may be what is causing these issues.
