Bootneuter run, but no unlock

Hi, I have successfully loaded the Bootneuter 2.0 app after pwning my 1st Gen Iphone. There were no problems at all with any part of the installation. However, the phone will no accept a non t-mobile (I am in Germany) SIM card. I have set the bootloader to 3.9, Neuterd and unlocked. Seems that there are few choices. Can anybody tell me if I am missing something?
