So i used Winpwn? Now i have no service?

so i used winpwn and jailbreaked my iphone 16gb with optus in australia
so does the unlock mean that i cannot get service? so all jailbreaking does for now is just allow apps....no actual network connection??

Did you unlock it or just jailbreak? If you are just jailbreaking and you already activated the phone, make sure you uncheak the activate button in advanced.

this worked for me when i had a similar issue.

i winpwn'd my phone with basic. was all fine and dandy, but i hated the winpwnapple... so i remade my resotre file this time in advanced mode. i left the default settings and after all was said and done, no service. after many re-pwns later my settings for a working phone are as follows:

advaced mode in winpwn.
general settings: uncheck activate (i didn't want it to activate)
checked drive wipeout (i wanted the disk wiped, i imagine this is personal preference)
bootneuter was not selected (i'm jailbreaking it for AT&T .. i don't want to unlock it for another carrier)
and that was pretty much what i needed to get my phone working again.

i think the activate checkbox would solve your issues, but the settings i put i know worked... so if no go on the activate, try all those settings.
