Unlike any of the other forums i have visited you guys seem like you know what your talking about.

I have tried to search for my issue but maybe I'm asking the wrong question.?.?

This is probley real easy for you guys but heres the problem. Back when the iphone first came out i got one. I had hacked the phone and was using tmobile service, all was good for about a week. One day i went to charge the phone while it was connected to my pc and ITunes updated i guess because when it was done charging it said something like no service or wrong sim. "something like that"

I dont have any of the apps anymore nor do I correctly know the process to follow to try this again cept for I have anysim/iunlock v4242 on my phone and all these posts seem to be for newer IPhone versions/firmware. Any knowledge that you may have would be great because when i try to use anysim it goes right to "dumping NOR" then about 7 to 10 min later it says "Unlock Failure Couldn't locate bytes to pach." And i have not done anything with it since.

Here are the specs that I have.

IPhone Version 1.0.2
ITunes Version 7.5.0.20

Everything on my phone works fine but its kind of pointless with no service. I still have anysim on there and i dont know if i need to downgrade or upgrade anything. If you have any input/links maybe the correct process I need to follow to get the best firmware along with my tmobile service active again, that would be great. I havent messed with it for about 4 months so i'm clueless to all the new upgrades and what i'm missing out on.

Upgrade to 1.1.1 and follow the unlock/update 1.1.2 methods in the forums. That would be the easiest thing for you to do since it is current. Also set auto-update to off
