Need Help With What Was An Unlocked Iphone!

so i got an iphone on ebay that was already unlocked. it has worked fine, and now the apps do not show up. my friend who has a touch said he could fix it, he restored it to 1.1.2 and it is bricked now. so i put it into recovery mode and nothing happens when i try ibrickr or to restore it as 1.0.2 or 1.1.1...so right now it is at the "connect to itunes" picture screen

if it says connect to itunes it shouldn't be bricked. downgrade it back to 1.1.1, do the whole jailbreak method, oktoprep for 1.1.2 and upgrade. then jailbreak again using the jailbreak1.1.2 file.

"Connect to ituns" means it is locked, not bricked. I am assuming you have the slide for emergency screen. Smirkis has it right, it is a little bit of a pain to do all this, but the bright side is your phone is not bricked

no, my screen has a little icon saying connect to itunes but it is a pic with a usb cord an a itunes symbol, i also have itunes 7.5 i think btw
