Please Help- IPhone speaker problem

Hi everyone.

A few days ago I upgraded my iphone (1.0.2 OTB) to the 1.1.2 version.
At the begining everything was OK but after somthing like one day I started to hear static noise form the ear speaker (the one the you normaly hear the conversation with). After a few minutes this speaker was dead... I cannot hear anything with speaker till now.
All the other sounds (keyboard tones, Ipod, etc) are working fine and i can hear everything form the speaker in the bottom of the device or with the ear buds...
I can call and recive calls but I can hear them only with the ear buds or the speaker in the bottom...

I tried to plug in and out the ear buds for 100 times and it did not help...
I tried also to make the restore proccess again but it did not help as well.

Maybe you guys have any idea how can i fix my device???

Thanx in advance,

Liron

if you have done a restore, this sounds like a hardware issue. I recommend calling apple.

ya it is a hardware issue. just take it back to apple and they will replace it. you will probably get a 1.1.2 otb or 1.1.3 otb tho.

First of all thanks for all your fast replies...

I think I will have problems with apple because my iphone was activated, jailbreaked and unlocked as 1.0.2 without AT&T sim card...

In this case, my Itunes should not give me any options for update and restore.
now I have 1.1.2 with the new BB.
Even if I restore again my device to factory settings via Itunes the BB will stay the same (the 1.1.2 BB), and they will know that it's a illegally unlocked phone and then I will lost my warranty...

Any ideas???

Thanks in advance,

Liron
