Have had my US iPhone since launch and have succesfully unlocked it etc, using my Macbook.
However, a friend is going to buy a UK iPhone and he wants me to Jailbreak and unlock it to use a o2 Simplicity sim, and I'm gonna check the forums for the easiest way.
But, as I said, I use a Mac and he uses a windoze machine, and what I'm wondering is when he comes to add music to the iPhone and connects it to his PC,will he need to restore it to the windoze format from the Mac format ?? as you need to do with iPods, and will that undo the jailbreak etc ??

no, it's not format specific becuase the capacity is under 32GB
