Ok so basically the story is, I have an iphone bought it with 1.0.2 a few months ago and upgraded to 1.1.1 jailbroke it and unlocked it. Last week when I connected my phone to my laptop it would not sync with the computer. I put the phone into recovery mode and restored to 1.1.1, lost everything (obviously). When I try to unlock the phone now with Anysim, it fails after copying firmware and says "Anysim cannot unlock this phone."

Now I am wondering what do I have to do so that I can unlock my phone?

Yes you do. But good luck. Ive been having issued trying to unlock 1.0.2. But go here for some help bro.

Virginizing is needed, you should be fine after that

Your mistake was running anysim again. You never, ever run anysim after yo have unlocked your phone from just doing a restore. YOu had a working 1.1.1, after you restore, you run jailbreakme.com and *that is all*. Now, you may be ok ater virginizing again or you may not - you probably will be, but that was the mistake.
