"There is an update for carrier settings for your phone"

I have a 4gb iPhone 2.0 on T-Mobile..today I plugged my iPhone into iTunes and Itunes came back and said something like "There are updated settings for your carrier, would you like to download them and install them?"

Just wondering if anyone else has had iTunes ask that?

I have the same message. I've skipped it so far. I'm not sure what the ramifications would be from applying this update. I'm on 2.0 at this point. I'd hate to have it "fix" me in the wrong light.

Intall the approbiate carriere bundle via Cydia and you're done...

In my case, i needed to install o2 Germany..
